Greyhound Australia passengers are now able to stop at Lancelin thanks to the new route change on its Western Australian services. Previously the Greyhound bus traveled north from Perth on the Brand Highway route, but with new coastal roads being built, the option to travel along the scenic ocean-side route has now become available.
The Indian Ocean Drive is the name of the new road connecting Perth and Geraldton, and this has opened access to a number of towns along the route. The Brand Highway can be a congested route, and the new road is estimated to cut the bus journey down by at least 30 minutes.
